Information Assurance Analyst


Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Security, and at least four years experience in performing certification and accreditation using DITSCAP or NIACAP. Prefer CISSP, CISM certifications. Shall have substantial knowledge of the certification and accreditation process including hands on experiencing in developing system security authorization agreements (SSAA).
 

Computer Specialist


Associates Degree in Computer Science with two years experience or technical course completion and minimum of five years of directly related experience with the maintenance or development of software programs/applications based in UNIX or C or other applicable computer languages. Shall have demonstrated ability in installation, set-up and operation of computer systems applicable to networks (LANs/WANs).
 

Electronics Technician


An Associates degree and graduate of a military Class “A” electronics school. Completion of a two-year civilian technical electronics curriculum, or a four-year trade apprenticeship training program may be substituted for the Associates degree. Shall have as a minimum, eight years hands-on experience in the field of Navy electronics systems and equipment, of electronics fabrication, installation, integration, test and checkout, and two years of supervision and shop practices.
 

Engineering Technician


Independently plans and accomplishes complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity. Serves as an expert in narrow aspects of certain field of engineering (e.g., environmental aspects affecting electronic engineering, design and implementation of trusted networks, LAN/WAN). Complexity of assignments typically require considerable creativity and judgment to devise approaches to accomplish work, resolve design and operational issues and make decisions in situations where standard engineering methods, procedures, and techniques may not be applicable. Supervisor or professional engineer provides advice on unusual or controversial problems or policy matters; completed work is reviewed for compliance with overall project objectives. May supervise or train and be assisted by lower level technicians.
